Netflix Game Remover — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 August 2026
The extension collects nothing automatically. It has no analytics, no tracking and no user accounts.
Settings
Your three on/off settings are stored with the browser's own sync storage. They stay in your browser account and are never sent to us.
Selector updates
To keep working when Netflix changes its page layout, the extension
periodically downloads a small configuration file from
extensions.ascentic.fr. This is a download only: no identifiers,
cookies or query parameters are sent.
As with any web request, our web host records the requesting IP address in its standard server logs, retained for a limited period for security and diagnostics. This is the only way the extension causes any information to reach us without your action.
Problem reports
If you press Report a problem, the extension builds a description of the current page's structure and opens your e-mail application with it pre-filled. You can read the whole thing before sending, and nothing is sent unless you send it yourself.
That description contains only HTML tag names, CSS class names and the names
of data- attributes. It deliberately excludes:
- all text from the page,
- your profile name,
- anything about what you watch or have watched,
- images and links,
- any account or video identifier.
Reports sent to ngr@ascentic.fr are used solely to repair the extension and are deleted once the problem is fixed.
Voluntary support
The Support development link opens a payment page hosted by Stripe, our payment provider. It is entirely optional, the amount is yours to choose, and it unlocks nothing in the extension — everything works the same whether you use it or not.
Card details are handled by Stripe alone; we never see or store them. Stripe passes us the amount, and the e-mail address and optional message you chose to give, which we keep only for our accounting records. Stripe's own handling of your data is covered by Stripe's privacy policy.
Nothing reaches Stripe unless you click the link yourself. The extension does not track whether you do.
